Computer Donations & Recycling
Your donations make a difference. Recent-model laptops and computers are securely wiped and donated directly to cancer patients through the Scientific & Medical Coalition Against Cancer (SMCAC). Older equipment is responsibly recycled—either sold for parts or scrapped for materials—with proceeds going toward cancer research and support.
Our friendly team is happy to arrange free, convenient pickups. However, as a nonprofit, we greatly appreciate when donors are able to drop off their items at one of our locations. This helps us more effectively support the oncology mission of the SMCAC.
All donations are Massachusetts tax-deductible, and may qualify as a charitable contribution on your Form 1040, Schedule A. In general, property contributions can be deducted up to 30% of your adjusted gross income. Please consult the IRS website or your tax advisor for specific guidance.
